Rachel_new

Rachel

Rachel comes to the practice with 9 years of experience in patient care. She was born and raised in New Jersey, where she received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology; with a minor in Education.
 
While working with special needs children, she did an internship shadowing child neuropsychological evaluations. Prior to her extensive experience in the medical field, she interned at a rehabilitation horse therapy ranch for children with autism.
 
Rachel is very active in her community; she loves adventure, photography, event planning, and movies.
 
Jennifer C.

Jennifer

Jennifer is a Board Certified Specialist in Psychometry and obtained her master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the John Jay College of New York. 

She has worked in the mental health field for over fifteen years and has a broad range of experience including testing, conducting clinical assessments, mental health evaluations, as well as crisis services.

Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients in a variety of settings. She has worked with adults, children, as well as those within the geriatric, special needs, forensic and substance abuse populations. She brings her education and diverse experiences to the practice and really enjoys working with both the patients as well as their families.

When not in the office, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family and really enjoys being outdoors. When she is not working, you can usually find her paddleboarding, bike riding, or relaxing on the beach.

Quincy

Quincy

Quincy earned her bachelor’s degree in clinical psychology from Colorado Christian University, driven by a passion for understanding people and making a positive impact in their lives. She has experience working across a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatry, forensic psychology, and substance abuse treatment.

Having lived in different countries, Quincy is bilingual in English and Spanish and values working with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. She brings both her clinical experience and global perspective to her practice, striving to create a supportive and collaborative environment for patients and their families.

Originally from Colorado, Quincy and her husband now enjoy living in Jacksonville, where she loves staying active, attending concerts, cooking, and traveling to new places.

Jacky

Jacquelyn

Jacquelyn has her Masters in Mental Health Counseling and a certification in Animal Assisted Therapy. She began her journey working as a counselor for college-aged students at UNF.

Throughout her time at the UNF counseling center, she worked closely with therapy dogs and their handlers. She found that she had an interest in testing and assessments and decided to explore that branch of psychology.

When she is not in the office she likes to travel, read, and spend time with friends and family.

Kimberly

Kimberly

Kimberly, originally from Southern California, embarked on her academic journey exploring various majors, including early childhood education and early childhood development.

However, she found her true calling in psychology, which led her to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, San Bernardino. Soon after her graduation, Kimberly dedicated herself to becoming a behavior therapist, specializing in supporting children and adults on the autism spectrum.

In 2018, a significant personal milestone led Kimberly to relocate to Jacksonville to marry and live closer to her husband’s family. Despite the move, she continued her passionate work with children with autism, consistently seeking opportunities to learn and grow within the field.

Kimberly’s profound dedication to working with individuals with special needs spurred her to further expand her experience and skills across various aspects of services for children and adults.

Outside her professional endeavors, Kimberly finds joy in gardening, attending baseball, football, and hockey games, and cherishing moments with her three dogs. Her journey reflects a blend of personal growth, professional dedication, and a commitment to enhancing the lives of those with special needs.

Jenny

Jennifer

Jennifer grew up in South Florida and received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Florida Atlantic University. While studying in college, she became certified as a behavioral therapist working with children with Autism and other special needs. 

She always enjoyed helping children and wanted to make more of an impact in their lives.

At the end of 2022, Jennifer moved to Jacksonville to live with her significant other. After working in applied behavior analysis for 6 years, she wanted to seek other opportunities to grow her experience. She is dedicated to helping every patient she meets, as well as looking forward to creating relationships with them.

When she is not working, she enjoys going to Disney, playing board games, traveling and spending time with her significant other, family and friends.

Avery

Avery

Avery began her journey in Psychology as a Registered Behavior Technician primarily working with children with Autism. She worked in Applied Behavioral Analysis for two years. She enjoyed working with children and helping them in various settings.

She developed a strong interest in neuropsychology while obtaining her bachelor’s degree, so she began to look for other opportunities in this area when she graduated.

She moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2019 for school and received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of North Florida. She is currently working towards getting her master’s degree in psychology at the University of Phoenix.

While obtaining her bachelor’s degree, Avery’s interest in the brain and cognitive processes began to grow.  She enjoys learning more about the brain and the large role it plays in cognitive functions.

Avery loves the warm weather and beautiful beaches. She enjoys going to the beach, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her friends. 

Anna

Anna-Marie

Anna-Marie grew up in South Georgia and received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, emphasizing in Experimental Psychology from Valdosta State University. She fell in love with the idea of helping others through mental health.

After graduating, she moved to Jacksonville with her husband and became a Registered Behavior Technician. She worked with children diagnosed with Autism and various other developmental disorders. She decided that she missed the test administration side of psychology and decided to switch careers.

She is now working on her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Applied Research at Capella University.

In her free time, she loves to cuddle with her three cats and go to Disney.

Claudia

Claudia

Claudia is so excited to be a part of the Jax Neuro team!

Raised in Jacksonville, Claudia was very excited to return home for this opportunity. She graduated from Florida State University in 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Theater and Psychology. 

While she mainly engaged in theater and acting during her undergraduate studies, she was passionate about psychological research. This inspired her to obtain her master’s in Clinical Psychology, which she just completed in May 2025 in New York City. There, her primary research interests included bilingual education, play and digital media usage, and developmental, behavioral, and intellectual disabilities in bilingual children. 

She was involved in two research labs during this time, and was able to present her master’s thesis at a conference presented by the University of Pennsylvania. She has also undergone comprehensive coursework and research involving psychological testing and assessment, working with countless children and families in NYC.

She is so pumped to be involved with this team and contribute to helping the people in her hometown!

Sybril

Sybril 

Sybril grew up in Middle Tennessee and received her Bachelors degree of psychology from Middle Tennessee State University. While studying in college she became a registered behavioral technician and began working with children with autism.

After graduating she moved to Jacksonville to further her career in psychology and be closer to family. She enjoys looking forward to meeting new patients and values each relationship she forms. She is dedicated to helping those in need

When she is not working, Sybril enjoys spending time with her dog, Hershey, going on walks, trips to the beach, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Jessica

Jessica

Jessica was born and raised here in Jacksonville. She has a Master’s degree in psychology from Southern New Hampshire University. She has worked in the mental health field for a couple of years and is enjoying working here and helping patients.

 She has debated on whether she wants to further her education in the mental health field and perhaps pursue a PHD or MD. However, in the meantime, she is currently focused solely on her work here.

 Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending time with her dog, Buddy, playing video games, reading, cross stitch, and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers

Ashley

Ashley obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona and is currently continuing her education at Grand Canyon University for her master’s degree in Psychology.

Ashley was born in Melbourne, Florida and recently returned in 2023 after living in Vermont where she began her journey in the field of psychology as a Registered Behavior Technician, primarily working with children with autism.

Before pursuing her interest in psychology, Ashley served 8 years in the United States Army before moving into Manufacturing with Revision Military Inc. as quality control.  When she is not working, she spends her free time working with and rehabilitating wildlife, reading books, taking scenic photography, and playing video games.
