Office Staff

Leslie, Referral Coordinator

Leslie recently decided to return to work full time after taking time off to care for her two children.

She has worked in the medical profession and with children for most of her career.

She was as an EMT, lifeguard and swim instructor in southern California and she still teaches swim lessons during summer.

She has worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years. Her first job was at In-N-Out and she still works two nights a week at a local restaurant.

She is a people person.

She enjoys traveling with her husband and their two children. They spend a lot of their free time outdoors, typically at the beach, pool, or riding bikes.

Both of her kids are in sports and that keeps her busy most of the week. She also enjoys playing pickle ball and running 5Ks and trying new restaurants.

Pam, Intake Specialist

Pam comes to our clinic with 10 years of Administrative and patient care experience.

She was born and raised in West Virginia.

She attended West Liberty State College and earned a Bachelor of
Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology.

Before working with us, she was a licensed CCPA for chiropractic care.

Pam enjoys exercise, gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

Michelle, Billing Supervisor

Michelle grew up in a small town in southern IL 30 minutes from St Louis. She went to McKendree University for Psychology with the goal of becoming a Child Psychologist.

In 2003 while looking for a new job, she sort of fell into Medical Billing and Coding. Within the first year she was hooked. She seemed to have a knack for it and hasn’t looked back. After a year she decided to incorporate her love for Psychology. So, in 2004 she started specializing in psychological billing and coding, and then in 2016 she became a Certified Life Coach.

She loves being able to help people in all areas of their lives whether it’s directly with Coaching or behind the scenes with Billing and Coding.

In her spare time, she enjoys being with her two daughters, friends and family, and she loves going to local sporting events. She is also a huge music and animal lover!!

Carrie, Receptionist and Front Office Specialist

Carrie manages the front office operations.  Her main interest in this profession is due to her urge to understand the brain and all things that are connected, especially having Epilepsy herself.

She previously worked as a Veterinary Technician for 13 years. She assisted with surgery, X-rays, dentals, and more.  She found herself always wanting to be more of a Medical Biller, so she went to school at Ultimate Medical Academy and obtained her Associate’s Degree as an Administrative Medical Assistant. Then in 2022, she started her career in a primary care office.

She was born and raised in the country and has a passion for horses. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, concerts, swimming, traveling, museums, and hanging out with her best dog pal, Gypsy Lizard Smith. She is a 4-year-old blue heeler, and she goes everywhere she can with her.

Lisa, Referring and Scheduling Coordinator

Lisa joins us after spending 17 years as a clinical team member in Ophthalmology, and 1 year as a referral coordinator for an oral surgery practice.

She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!). She is a huge college football and basketball fan.

She is married to a Florida boy and has two stepchildren and one daughter. She has two dogs, a Shih-poo named Sunday Grace, and a Husky named Jax.

Lisa and her daughter spend their weekends doing 5k races and they take the dogs with them. Her family enjoys finding new dive restaurants, and cooking at home.
