A psychological evaluation is a method to assess your:

- Personality
- Cognitive abilities
This allows us to identify psychological factors that are affecting your ability to think, behave, or regulate emotions.
Psychological evaluations aim to determine the presence of any disorders of:
- Mood
- Anxiety
- Trauma
- Personality
- Substance Use
We are then able to provide targeted treatment recommendations to aid in your recovery and growth.
Concerns that often lead to a referral for testing:
- Personal problems at work or at school
- Difficulty regulating anger
- Conflict in inter-personal relationships
- Sadness, tearfulness, loss of interest
- Suicidality
- Anxiety and worry
- Hallucinations / delusions
- Inattention, difficulty concentrating, and impulsivity
- Alcohol or drug use
- Grief and adjustment difficulties
- Personality changes
