Yayci Moonan

Dr. Yayci Moonan

I am a licensed psychologist and neuropsychologist, providing comprehensive neuropsychological services in English and Spanish for patients across the lifespan.

I have experience with psychiatric diagnoses, neurodegenerative disorders, ADHD, acquired brain injuries, and complex medical and neurological disorders.

I earned my doctoral degree in clinical psychology, from William James College. My clinical and research skills were further cemented thought a internship and a two-year fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, within the cultural and bilingual lifespan neuropsychology track.

Upon graduating from the fellowship program at UCLA in 2021, I moved to Jacksonville and worked as an inpatient neuropsychologist for two years at a rehabilitation hospital, providing services to patients with complex neurological injuries and doing capacity evaluations.

I also collaborated with the worker’s compensation team, providing neuropsychological evaluations for Spanish-speaking patients.

My clinical interests include neurodegenerative disorders, and cross-cultural neuropsychology and I have dedicated my training to better understand the role of bilingualism in brain functioning.

I am originally from Colombia, and a proud wife and mother. I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, road cycling, running and trying new restaurants in the area.
